UPDATE 2/1/12-
Things change so much day by day - steve is back home again and doing pretty good - however like I said it is a day by day thing. Lets hope and pray his stay at home this time - is for good - other than his routine appts he will have.
Thanks for everyones prayers - lets continue to until we get him to full recovery!
Steve and Darlene want to pass on to all our local pullers - who attended our year end Banquet - the are very very thankfull - for the nice card and donation that we put inside. - Thank You!!
Under the 2012 Shootout tab - the new entry form and updated rules are available. Pre - Entry deadline is March 5th! Look forward to seeing everyone in March!
Next Shootout Planning Meeting is set for Feb 12th - 1:00pm at Ken's shop - Everyone please be there - as this will be our time to finalize everything - and make sure we have everything covered and ready to go!
We have also added a Stock Youth class to our Spring Shootout this year! Bring the kids and let them have a chance to play as well.
Block of rooms are now reserved at the Econolodge in Des Moines - across the road from the Fair Grounds. If you are interested reserve early - There are a limited number of rooms - make sure you tell them you are with Prairie Tractor Pullers. Rates this year are: Room with one King bed - $65, Room with 2 double beds - $70., One room Suite - $75. Last year this hotel was full!
We are looking for new towns to add to our 2012 Pulling Season please spread the word and let Ken know if you come accross any leads.
